What we need
The Senior Manager, Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) will bring strong analytical, collaboration, and organizational skills ready for a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated previous knowledge of analytical and capacity planning along with a history of long-term operational planning. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, advanced analytical capabilities, and a deep understanding of supply chain management.
What we do
Our global sourcing, procurement and third-party supplier team develop innovative category management strategies in collaboration with the business. The team focuses on strategic third-party partner agreements and help support supplier relationship management, commercial and financial pricing models for overall supplier performance.
What you’ll do
Lead the organization and release of the plan of record working with sales, engineering, supply chain, site, and project management.
Manage and mentor a team of planning professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
Conduct regular performance reviews and identify development opportunities for team members.
Develop master schedule based on customer requirements, sales forecast, and PMO timelines.
Own the long lead commodity allocations, and demand planning.
Coordinate capacity schedules including contract constraints, vendor capacity, internal capacity, and supplier throughput.
Responsible for developing tools & analytics to report on project scenarios for executive leadership.
Implement and maintain advanced procurement inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels and ensure product availability. Including forecast development to ensure a proactive approach for project procurement.
Own the release and control of the technology cut over planning including supplier selection, site cutover, and BOM release schedule.
Collaborate with the supply chain teams to identify and lead risk mitigation planning for items that might impact operational performance.
Govern the KPI dictionary for all production control and supply chain KPIs. This responsibility includes ownership of the KPI, formula, filters, data integrity, and distribution of KPIs to the extended operational audience.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance the decision-making process within operations.
What you’ll need
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred, not required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Minimum of 7+ years of experience in Production Planning, Supply Chain, and Inventory.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience with ERP systems; SAP preferred.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Project, and Smart Sheets is preferred.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and logistics, to ensure seamless operations.
Advanced knowledge of the philosophies, principles, practices & techniques of planning.
Well-developed knowledge of one or more planning disciplines, such as production planning, logistics scheduling, engineering capacity planning, and project management.
Knowledge and experience in automation construction processes.
Knowledge of principles, methodology, practices of research and data collection.
Knowledge of effective writing techniques.
Knowledge of computer programs and applications, which may include Microsoft Office, business intelligence software, and database management.
Excellent oral and written communication skills for preparing and presenting planning reports and projects.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Creative problem-solving skills to gather relevant information to solve less well- defined planning problems.
Group facilitation skills for use during cross functional workshops.
Ability to work on several projects or issues simultaneously and meet firm deadlines.
Ability to facilitate in-person and virtual SIOP events.
Our Environment
Up to 10% of travel may be required. Employees must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.
The employee is responsible for owning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis.
