What you'll do
Assist Mobile Bot Hardware Engineering team with designing, documenting, building, testing and debugging of the latest technologies and engineering designs.
Contribute to the conception, analysis, prototyping, detailed design, and validation of Mechanical, Electromechanical systems
Design parts for various manufacturing processes, including machining, casting, sheet metal, plastics, and fabricated assemblies.
Assemble electromechanical assemblies, fixtures utilizing hand tools, measurement equipment and machine tools
Assist in debugging issues with the bot Mechanical and Electro-mechanical systems and components
Work with cross functional teams to verify designs and resolve issues.Create and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
What you'll need
Currently pursuing a MS degree in Mechanical Engineering with focus on Mechatronics hardware design
Experience with basic lab equipment (Mechanical and Electrical)
Proficiency with Solidworks or similar CAD tool
Prototyping and Machining Experience (Vertical Mill, Drill Press, Rapid Prototype, Lathe, etc.)
Comfortable with presenting to peers, cross functional teams and senior team members
Our Environment
Up to 10% or 25% of travel may be required. Employees must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.
The employee is responsible for owning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis.
