What we need
Symbotic is seeking a Spare Parts Supervisor works in a leadership capacity among the Spare Parts Coordinators and our teams at our different client sites. They mentor the Spare Parts Coordinator to further develop capability of the team. They ensure that our client sites receive the correct replacement parts that they need. Building relationships with site personnel and working alongside them will ensure success in this role.

The Spare Parts Supervisor is part of our customer site operations and supply chain organization to assure they receive the correct replacement parts that the site needs. The organization drives operational excellence by engaging and partnering with our onsite customers to ensure best-in-class quality, and system performance.
What you’ll do
Lead a team and delegate daily functions and work beyond the scope of normal as operation calls for it.
Enter initial provisioning orders for new site standup.
Manage ongoing orders for customer sites to ensure high level of service is maintained. Provide routine updates to customer sites for expected.
Manage WO and Transfer Order creation to ensure production is prepared to build any needed material for site orders or for inventory stock.
Actively work with the Planning team, Site Operations team, vendors, and customers, to identify appropriate levels of min/max material inventory levels.
Manage the Return Material Authorize (RMA) request for materials and parts returned; Ensure customer sites are providing any needed documentation (i.e., why replacement needed, info required for Quality to perform RCA), identify sales order changes, and potential budget adjustments.
Work with Supply Chain and Planning groups to identify delivery dates that require escalation to meet site demand needs.
Work with Service Readiness Engineers to ensure non site stocked, warehouse spares are stocked, and accurate stock levels and reorder points are defined.
Key partner to with the supply chain organization to drive supply and demand changes and this to ensure hit customers on timelines; Sales orders drive demand and levels.
Other duties as assigned by leadership.
What you’ll need
Associate degree or related experience in parts and maintenance operation.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in supply chain, logistic, or maintenance distribution or manufacturing environment.
Experience working with SAP, computer skills (i.e., Excel, Word, etc.) and Symbotic CMMS. Arena and NetSuite experience a plus.
Experience with conducting inventory and work order audits.
Experience communicating to peers in Maintenance, Hourly associates, and Senior management regarding maintenance, inventory, and cost control.
Maintenance skilled trade training or equivalent experience, preferred.
Ability to work with different schematics to aid sites in identifying the correct part that is required as needed.
High tolerance of change, and able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Our Environment
There will be steep stairs to climb into the structure. You may be required to routinely walk up and down stairs to navigate the automation structure.
You will regularly be near railings that are high off the ground.
Subject to environmental conditions, protection from weather conditions but not necessarily temperature changes. Must be capable of working in temperatures ranging from 105° to 32° Fahrenheit.
AT times you may be at a construction site with PPE required (hard hat, safety vest, steel toes, eyeglasses, ear protection, fall protection (e.g., safety harness).
Frequent ability to safely and efficiently lift items weighing up to 50lbs and move items weighing up to 80lbs.
Stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours and is frequently required to walk and reach with hands and arms.
The employee is routinely required to work at heights of up to 45 feet and within restrictive areas of 24 inches. Where you may need to be able to stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Must be capable of occasional and/or continuous feeling, seeing, hearing, bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, pulling, balancing, gripping, climbing, crawling, sitting, handling objects, and repetitive movement using both hands and feet. Must comply with all safety requirements and protocols, including without limitation Lock out tag out safety protocols and fall protection.
